The AOC, Viré-Clessé
The Viré-Clessé AOC is produced on some 390 hectares spread over the communes of Clessé, where the Château de Besseuil is located, Montbellet and Viré. It is the last communal appellation of the Mâconnais, since it was created in 1999.
With the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label, the Southern Burgundy region is a first-rate wine tourism destination.
